Tag: fur trapping
For the sake of fur, poachers hunt chinchillas, foxes, sables, and even fur seals (although it is illegal). Needless to say, animals are kept in poor conditions in the fur factories. They live in small and uncomfortable cages, and when the time comes, they are killed with gas or electric shock. Both procedures are extremely painful for animals. They rarely die quickly: most of them are still alive when they’re hung by the legs or laid with their backs on the table before being cut. What do you think about this movie plot?
The manufacturers can obtain fur in one of two ways. The first one is catching animals in nature. 30% of animals are trapped (usually, the hunters use the cruel foothold traps). An animal can stay in this death machine for up to two weeks. It is very cruel.
The second way – 70% of animals are raised on fur farms. These are the real concentration camps for animals that haven’t reached reproductive age. Animals are kept in congested cages, where they have no place to move, and then brutally killed. Watch the movies about fur trapping online.
